Pay Lightning.Spend CKB
One seamless payment experience connecting native CKB to Bitcoin Lightning. Scan an invoice, review your quote, and pay with CKB.
Spend CKB anywhere
Lightning is accepted.
Pay with Native CKB
Use CKB as the funding asset for Lightning payments without requiring a separate manual swap. Status: planned.
Lightning Invoice Compatibility
Support the standard Bitcoin Lightning invoice workflow. Reading the amount and expiry of a BOLT11 invoice already works in the prototype.
Transparent Payment Quotes
Clear conversion rates, estimated fees, slippage limits, and quote expiry. The market rate is live; the fee figures are assumptions for now.
Liquidity-Aware Routing
Find suitable conversion liquidity and coordinate payment execution. Status: planned.
Built on Fiber & CCH
Leverage Fiber Network and CCH interoperability instead of recreating the underlying Lightning infrastructure. Integration testing is part of Phase 1.
Developer-Friendly Infrastructure
A future API and SDK for wallets, applications, and payment providers. Status: planned.
Four steps.
One payment in CKB.
1// Planned. Not implemented in the prototype.2wallet.connect('ckb')34// No BTC required
One payment.
Six hands.
Native CKB, then a liquidity layer, a BTC-equivalent asset on Fiber, CCH, Bitcoin Lightning, and finally the merchant. Fiber and CCH already exist; CKBolt aims to add the consumer-facing quote and routing layer on top.
What Lightning
costs in CKB.
Built on the CKB
and Lightning ecosystem.
CKBolt builds on existing infrastructure instead of recreating it. Items marked Planned are intended integrations, not live ones.
Four detours.
One payment.
Today: CKB, manual swap, BTC, Lightning wallet, merchant. Native CKB holders cannot pay a standard Lightning invoice from their CKB balance, so each step adds friction, cost, and a place to get stuck. The CKBolt flow aims to shorten it to three:
Find a converter
Look for a service that supports CKB-to-BTC conversion.
Convert CKB into BTC
Swap into BTC or another BTC-equivalent asset, paying conversion costs.
Move funds to Lightning
Transfer the funds into a Lightning-compatible environment.
Pay the merchant
Only then complete the merchant's Lightning payment.
Built by TEX Labs.
For payment builders.
TEX Labs is a platform engineering firm focused on blockchain and AI. CKBolt is meant to become a payment routing API and SDK that wallets, applications, and payment providers can integrate. Only the live rate endpoint exists today.
Quote API
One call from invoice to CKB price. Planned.
Invoice parsing
BOLT11 amount and expiry. Working in the prototype.
Payment lifecycle
Track a payment from quote to settlement. Planned.
Fiber and CCH ready
Built to integrate with existing infrastructure.

Answered as far as we can.
Where something is still undecided, the answer says so.
Planned milestones,
not promises
Each phase below is a plan, not a completed achievement. Dates are left out until the liquidity questions are answered.

Early-stage project. Scope and order may change as Fiber and CCH integration testing progresses.
